What More Can I Say?

I need you to be more reckless, dear Asha, feel empowered to love me and the facts I present: there’s less value in a dollar than there used to be and I am willing to go to any length to show you an example of my desire.

I don’t classify people; it only gives me anxiety and locks me in a cell of judgment.

But we need to modernize the whole world, my love, leave the gossip for those who don’t know how to say please.

In my garage sits the example of my failure: it doesn’t run, doesn’t take me to the rally where I let my voice be heard.

Please trust that things will run their course and all will be well, even if you have to peel a little extra happiness from these dry bones.

My analyst always tries to remind me of the simplicity of life, how to take it as it comes and do it all without a single beer.

I still remain strange though, keep a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet just in case.

As sure as a dog chases its tail, I will see you at the ballet where they overcharge you for everything.

I could settle for a slab of beef, a basic meal I can carve and not disappoint.
