I think your thighs are your best trait, dear Asha, the way they walk toward me, send a note to my heart that is pleasant but abstract.

I’m on your trail, my love, and I know you don’t want to make it easy on me, be some simple prey.

But that’s just the feminist in you, the feminist in all of us really, which stems from reliance on self rather than God above.

Just being with you is a cool thing for this square, how you continue to captivate me after all these years.

So let me take a crack at our love, combine a positive outlook with your simple undemanding ways.

You can sit with me under a tree while we think of methods to blackmail the society that wronged us.

Yet I know that the angels hover above us, making sure we’re in compliance and don’t risk losing our own wings when we pass on.

We can even dip our toes in the lake and remark what a fabulous day it is.

With a sniff of your skin, you’ll reinforce the wild beast in me who will plot to take you home later.
