It’s Real Like My Love for You

On our voyage across rough seas, dear Asha, I want to say the heck with it and just pour more wine.

But there is a link from the drink to a steadfast lasciviousness, which I know is a constant struggle, to maintain good standing in the eyes of the Law.

On our charter, describing all the rights and privileges of our union, I want to write about your damn find body which I admire, but it goes without saying.

In my college dorm there wasn’t a lot of activity but down at the bar oh my goodness it was a tragedy every night until it closed. And then it got worse.

Even then I knew it was abnormal to admire women so much, to write a letter to the Gods describing your beauty as if it would somehow prove me right.

I want to take a trip to Greece like you did with that so-called “Producer” who tried to groom you for the movies.

If I could just count on your cooperation, help me put those other men you see out of doors to find their lost tooth somewhere else.

You and I both know that history is a lie, a put on by those who share the same contract as the cook.
