Come a Little Closer to My Heart

Your flesh is so soft, dear Asha, I regard it as silk, or as close as it can be to the real thing.

So, I pen these lines and hope you won’t neglect me, won’t allow me to add any unnecessary complication to our match.

I wish we could live in a cottage somewhere, away from all the other males.

I could get a job as a speaker, telling the world about an apple while they sit and drink coffee in some café.

You’re magnetic, my love, I am drawn to you without any thought of fluctuation in the force that compels me.

You’d spawn some decorative trappings which would serve to beautify our surroundings, and you’d be a well-known customer at the craft store.

My reward for being so loving is all the things you can imagine.

The curriculum at school never taught me about you, how I would one day imagine an island where I reside as a retiree, immune from worry, holding you on a nightly basis.

Let’s discuss how to get there, leaving your sister behind out of sight.

I so enjoy being with you there’s no trace of doubt.
